We measure the battery's voltage and cranking performance, then check the charging system with the bike running, plus a parasitic drain test for alarms, trackers and accessories. A flat battery is often a symptom rather than the fault, so if the battery is healthy and something else is draining it, we tell you — you only pay for a battery if you actually need one.

Common Australian motorbike battery sizes are the YTX and YTZ series — YTX7A-BS, YTX9-BS, YTX12-BS, YTX14-BS, YTZ10S and YTZ14S — plus the older YB conventional types, AGM and lithium. Every battery carries a nationwide manufacturer warranty, so one fitted in Lidcombe is still covered if it fails interstate. The exact term depends on the battery you choose — lithium and premium AGM usually carry longer than a standard conventional type — and we tell you the term before you buy.

Yes. We remove and recycle your old battery free of charge. Lead-acid batteries should never go in general waste — the lead, plastic and acid are all recoverable, and recycling keeps them out of landfill.
